Room types
The new hostel offers 45 beds. It has 7 dorms and 8 private rooms for moderate prices. Dorm beds get a basic breakfast in the common room, whereas the private rooms get a continental breakfast at the café bar included in the price. The upper floors remain with the previous hotel standard, whereas the lower floors changed into dormitories. The private rooms keep the same services as at the former hotel times.
Location and surroundings
The tourist sights are all within walking distance from the hostel. The Lake of Zurich is just 200m away, the art museum and the opera house are only five minutes walking distance. The famous Café Odeon is just around the corner.
Services and facilities
There is a small kitchenette in the common room with a microwave, fridge and oven to prepare some small food as well as free tea and instant coffee 24 hours. Luggage storage before check-in and after check-out is possible in a locker in the common room.

Friendly staff, we met an awesome girl named Neya who knew so much about the city and really offered to help out as much as possible! Wish we spent more time at this hostel to get to know everyone and felt very safe with our belongings in this hostel. The breakfast is amazing and hope to see these guys again on our way back home!
Next to bar street. May be noisy till midnight
Very nice hostel. Location is globally good but located next to the "hottest" street of Zurich. People looking for quiet should consider finding another place. Otherwise, very good price/quality rate!
Before my arrival I`ve read different references and I was ready to face all the negative aspects of the hostel that it`s dirty, shabby with impolite staff. In reality it turned out to be better than expected with quite clean rooms and bathroom, good central heating (for December it`s quite critical). However, the breakfact variety is quite limited, so don`t expect a lot. Definitely good value for money, good location, suitable for a short stay!
