About Procyon
The building from which the Procyon hostel was born once housed a popular amateur radio station, one of the most loved and listened to on the island of São Miguel. The radio station was called Procyon and the radio is still present in the hostel space! In fact, the essence of the building has been maintained, while definitely modernizing the spaces. Ask the staff something more about this project and they will be able to show you the story behind small details of the hostel.
Procyon Hostel is a modern hostel in the city of Ponta Delgada, the main center of the Azores islands. It has beautiful private rooms, furnished with great attention to detail and guest comfort and there are also two spacious dormitories. The common areas are also excellent, with a bar and a patio.
