We have friendly staff and helpful customer service. Our property is special in a way that it is quiet like home, situated in a residential area, and gives a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, and is unique in a way that it has a convenient location. Travelers can stay here to get a quiet night's sleep and meet other fellow travelers to go out and enjoy our downtown night life and nearby daily trips.
Hostel On 3rd is located in the district of GasLamp and boasts of a convenient location in San Diego downtown and have a large common area that is relaxing to make you feel at home. It's housed in a recently renovated historic 1910s building and has private rooms and female or mixed dorms.

Room types
We have 15 rooms including 2-person private rooms, mixed, and female dorms, with shared bathrooms. Bunk beds are in all our rooms. We provide linens in the rooms. WI-Fi is free of charge and is also available in some of the rooms.
Location and surroundings
Hostel On 3rd is a brand new hostel located in the heart of San Diego's Gaslamp District.
It is ideally located just one block from all the bar scene and still in a quiet area when you need a silent night’s sleep. We are very close to all great tourist spots of San Diego like museums, zoo and beaches. We are only two blocks from the downtown convention center.

We have a very big common area where you can meet other people. In this common area, we have a ping pong and pool table, board games, television, and a guest computer. We offer free wi-fi. There is a common kitchen where guests are welcome to cook their meals. We offer free breakfast to our guests.
