We can recommend Hostal Havana 162 very strongly. It was the best casa particular that we stayed in during our stay in Havana. The location is excellent, and it is quiet. Sra Carmen Alvarez Zuniga is a charming and most welcoming host. (signed) David & Margaret
The house is simply amazing. We're talking about a colonial one, restored to its former glory, with fantastic paintings in the living and dining room and an original bed from the late 1800's in one of the bedrooms. The owner is a nice and helpful lady who can help you get around if you're new in Havana. The location is perfect, just in the center. Definetly a fantastic place to stay!
This house was great. Doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it is very ice and clean. We had a bout of food poisoning that was keeping us all night, and our host Carmen was very understanding and even made us tea and helped comfort my wife who was very sick. Thank you so much Carmen!!
Lovely place!! Host is wonderful, very attentive and interesting to talk to, her house full of antiques and beautiful works of art, a real gem in Habana vieja. i loved it!
