About Chiostro delle Monache
Not so far from the attractive Etruscan walls of Volterra, The 'Chiostro delle Monache' is an ancient Franciscan convent, that was built together with the Church of San Girolamo in 1445 a.C. by the municipality and then assigned to the Franciscan order.

Situated at only one km from Porta a Selci and the Etruscan Museum, this Hostel is situated in a quiet position, far from the city chaos and traffic, with the possibility to park the car free of charge. From her you can reach the most important cultural cities as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano and the seaside.

At guests disposal there's a small caffetteria, a tv corner and a reading room, but also a beautiful frescoed hall, where breakfast is generally served.

It's a wonderful place to relax. It's very quiet, clean and beautiful. It's not very close to the center but there are buses to go to the village.

Newly fitted and clean place in a fantastic setting! Very comfortable stay, and would definately stay again.
When you want to return to the same place, it's the best recommendation. We will be seen again!
