Nomads history
In February 1994 Australian Richard McLeod started Nomads and opened the first hostel in Adelaide. Little by little, Nomads hostels have become a favorite amongst travellers to Australasia.
After Nomads began working within the international market place, more than 1.5 million Nomads bed nights are occupied in Australia and New Zealand annually. Nomads also have affiliated hostels in Fiji, Canada, Europe and Argentina!

Nomads mission is 'to create unique experiences that travellers and staff will cherish for life' This is why Nomads staff are all experienced and passionate, they are travellers in their blood, every manager and director has put on a backpack at some stage.
This fast growing international brand offers a friendly, open and innovative environment where to experience fun and adventure for great value: travellers can pay a bunk bed price for a hotel experience in all of Nomads key locations.
Customers have access to great facilities often including resort pools, bars and restaurants, fully equipped kitchens, internet kiosks, MAD Travel Shops, and there's even a sauna in some locations. Nomads always offers a wide range of bed accommodations, from private rooms to big dorms, to suit travellers from all walks of life.
