1. Arrivals and Departures
New arrivals can check into their rooms from 3:00pm. Guests may arrive earlier and leave their luggage at the hostel but access to rooms will not be granted until after 3:00pm.
Departing guests must remove all their belongings from their room, and check out, by 12pm. At this time, all possessions must be removed from the dorm/room. If you need to store your luggage on the day of your departure please arrange it with reception. We offer free luggage storage until 3:00pm.
2. Check In
You do not have to be a member of any organisation to stay at Hostel Connect however we do require that some form of valid photo identification is presented upon check in, preferably a passport, I.D. card or driving license. The reception is open for check-ins and walk-ins from 3:00pm until 8:00pm, if you are going to be arriving later than 8:00pm you must contact us and let us know, failure to inform us may result in you not getting in. Once checked-in you will be given a code for the front door and have 24hr access.
3. Check Out
Check out is at 12pm. If you check out late, you will be asked to pay for an extra night, so make sure you’re up and ready in time! You can hang about the hostel or store your bags, if you need to, but you must have you and your belonging out by 12!
If you will be arriving after 8pm, you MUST inform the hostel. You can put a note on your booking, email or call us. Failure to inform the hostel of a late check-in could result in you being refused entry on that night and being charged for the night.

Guests who wish to bring their children under 16 years of age must book a whole dorm or private room. For guests aged 16 or 17 years of age, they can book into one of the dorm rooms, but must be accompanied by an adult. (over 18). Unlike some hostels we do not have an upper age limit. Please be aware that you may be assigned a top bunk, if you need a bottom bunk, let us know at time of booking.

When booking beds in dorm rooms for you and your friends, we may not be able to put you in the same room. Book a private room if you want to guarantee you’ll all be together.

72-hour Cancellation policy and No-Shows
If you wish to cancel your reservation, you will need to notify us by email 72 hours in advance of your arrival date. However, if you only let us know the day before your arrival, or fail to show up on the arrival date, you will not be entitled to a refund. Please note that our New Years cancellation policy is 7 days before your arrival date and applies to the arrival dates 29th, 30th and 31st of December.
Guest Behaviour
The comfort, safety and security of our guests is of paramount importance to us at Hostel Connect. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local residents will be requested to leave the hostel premises and will not be offered a refund. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, local residents and property.
8.1. Noise Levels
We want everyone to have a good time and enjoy themselves while staying at Hostel Connect, so we have 3 strikes you’re out policy when it comes to noise. We will ask you nicely twice to lower your noise level, the third time you will be asked to leave and if required the police will be called.
8.2. Alcohol consumption
Alcohol consumption is only allowed for guests over the age of 18. Anyone under the age of 18 found entering Hostel Connect with alcohol will have it confiscated. No excessive alcohol consumption is allowed in the hostel. Anyone found to be excessively intoxicated or behaving anti-socially and disturbing other guests will be asked to leave immediately. Drink responsibly!
8.3. Cleanliness
The staff at Hostel Connect try and keep the hostel clean and tidy at all times, but we are not your mothers, so clean up after yourself and respect of guests, they have to use the hostel as well.
9. Kitchen
The Hostel Connect kitchen is available for all guests to use between the hours of 8am and 10:30pm. A continental breakfast is available from 8am until 10am. All glasses, dishes and cutlery are to remain in the kitchen at all times. Plastic cups are available on request.
10. Common Room
Our common room is available for all guests to use between the hours of 8am and 2am, please remember to be respectful of other guests.
11. No Smoking
There is a designated smoking area in Hostel Connect for guests who wish to smoke. Smoking is not permitted anywhere else in the Hostel Connect building. Any guest found smoking inside the building will be fined £50.00, if guests do not wish to pay this fine they will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund
12. No Drugs
Drug use is illegal in Northern Ireland. Any guest found using drugs within the building will be fined £250.00, if guests do not wish to pay this fine they will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund.
13. Personal Property
Hostel Connect have a safe in the reception area and secure lockers for laptops and small valuable items are located in each dorm room. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that their personal belongings are secure at all times, and Hostel Connect accepts no liability for the loss, theft or damage to guests’ property, however sustained or caused. We strongly recommend you bring a padlock to use with your luggage & backpack.
14. Damage to Hostel Connect Property
We worked hard to make Hostel Connect a reality, please behave like adults and respect our hostel and it’s contents. We understand that from time to time accidents do happen, however if you break something you will be expected to pay to fix or replace it. Failure to notify staff of any damages will result in your credit card being charged automatically or criminal charges being sought.
15. Liability
Except in relation to death or personal injury caused by our negligence Hostel Connect liability remains, at all times, limited to the value of the services booked, excluding any amendment charges paid to us.
16. Your Information
Hostel Connect shall only store and use information you supply to us or which is supplied to us for the purposes of carrying out our contract with you, and to inform you of other services and offers which we make available from time to time.
17. Errors and Omissions
Any omission or error in sales literature, web pages or site, order form, quotation, price list, order acknowledgement, dispatch note, invoice or other documents issued by us may be corrected by us without liability. We will advise you of any changes at the time of booking or as soon as is reasonably possible thereafter.
18. Discretion
All bookings are subject to availability and Hostel Connect reserve the right to decline any booking at its discretion.

Iné poplatkyUpon check in, guests will receive a room key (if requested) for their room and an invoice (proof or payment). Reception staff may ask to see this invoice at any time, so you will need to keep it safe with the room key. If you require a room key, you will be required to leave a £5 deposit, which will be returned when you bring the key back.
