Location and surroundings
Hotel Universal is situated in the elegant Avenida dos Aliados in the heart of Oporto's historical centre, surrounded by some of the city's most splendid architecture jewels, like the town hall, S. Bento railway station and Clerigos tower. Thanks to its privileged location the hotel offers easy access to all parts of the city, on foot, by bus and by metro. The railway station is just 2 minutes away on foot and the airport 20/30 minutes away on public transports.

Room very hot, position far from life (that is almost near the river..).
Excellent location and really good price for value. It is not luxurious but enough to visit the city.
