Anker Hostel is perfect if you are travelling with a group and are looking for large dormitories and if you are looking for budget accommodation in Oslo centre with car parking.
Anker Hostel is a 150-room hostel (only 53 in winter) in Oslo centre, 10 minutes from Oslo's main street Karl Johan the Central Railway Station. It’s ideal for groups but individual traveller will also love the international atmosphere.

| Reception | Our reception has different opening hours during the year, but Anker Hotel next door is always open. The check in starts from 15.00 and the check out is until 11.00. |
Room types
All rooms are equipped with private facilities. Guests can book private rooms (2 bed/s private en-suite) or shared dormitories such as 4 and 8-bedded dorms with bathroom. All our dorms are mixed. Towels can be rented for 20 NOK. Bed linen are compulsory: you can bring your own or you can rent them at reception for 50 NOK. Sleeping bags are not allowed.
Location and surroundings
Within the neighbourhood there are several stores and restaurants. We are located closed to the bus stop of Hausmannsgate with 2 bus lines (30 and 31) and 2 tram line (12 and 13) taking you from/to the Central Station.
Services and facilities
At our reception shop, you can you buy snacks and travel gadgets such as toiletries, card phones; you can also borrow kitchen equipment with a security deposit. Laundry facilities to use the washing machine are also available. This hostel is wheelchair accessible and is served by an elevator. Parking with 131 spaces and bikes parking are available. Common Room and Bar are among the facilities to relax and rest. Free WiFi!

Nice place, in the center of Oslo, not far from the trai station and from the city center. If i will be again in Oslo of course I will Chosw
I recommend this hostel. You can't get any cheaper hostel in the city. It's also better than the youth hostel because it's nearer to the city and you can save the money for the bus ticket. Also the staff is very nice.
in the room there is bathroom, kitchen and refrigerator. no sleeping bags, tou can rent sheet bad for 45nok. fantastic
Good clean hostel very busy even in off season. Great breakfasts at the hotel next door, comfy rooms with on-suites. Great place to go easily accessible to all ares of town by walking, trams or buses.
The hostel was situated close to the facility I was visiting during my two days in Oslo which was nice. I liked the attitude of the people working at the hostel, which was helpful in many ways!
