The hotel has 90 rooms over 7 floors. We offer accommodation in single and twin rooms, shared rooms or a dormitory. Each of our modern non-smoking rooms has an ensuite bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a TV. In multi-bed rooms you will find bunk beds. Bed linen is included.
Location and surroundings
The hotel is in the middle of Prenzlauer Berg, an ideal starting point for shopping and sightseeing excursions. What makes this district so beloved is its unique atmosphere generated by the innumerable bars, cafes, restaurants and clubs around the hostel. Whether it's Kollwitzplatz, the Kulturbrauerei, Kastanienallee, Flohmarkt am Mauerpark or the White Trash - the district can always offer something that invites you to relax, browse, and have a good time.

Here, everybody will find something to their taste. Our guest kitchen is at your disposal to conjure up your favourite dish while our in-house washing machine is doing your washing. The bar is open 24 hours a day and includes a games zone. We also have vending machines, of course. You can benefit from free WiFi and meet up in the lobby or in your room. A rich all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast can be purchased each morning.

the hostel is like a cheap hotel. very clean. the staff were very unhelpful. i saw one guy get yelled at by the lady at reception for asking ow to use the washing machine. and the kitchen was always a mess. the cleaners family go down there and eat breakfast in the morning and leave all their dirty dishes there. the common room is really depressing too so everyone uses reception but if u make too much noise u get yelled at. not a great place
so good experience with meininger. i like so much,is near to the underground,good breakfast (3 euros). lockers in to de bedrooms. so clean!!
Great, great hostel. Rooms are great. Located a block away from the metro. Has all the facilities. at the lobby can be a little loud at night, due to all the backpackers. Next time I'd definitely stay there!
the 6 bed room I have been in was really tiny!! and for that very little space it´s still pretty much money!!
