You can stay in mixed dorms with private bathroom (7/8 beds) as well as in private rooms with private bathroom (twin rooms, triple rooms and family rooms for 4 and 6 people). Breakfast is included in the rates and it is served from 08:00 until 10:00 in the breakfast room, decorated in a romantic 'Old Dutch'style.
Location and surroundings
Everything is within walking distance. We are located close to the mainf shopping areas, street markets, second-hand market, flower market and entertainment places like Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein. Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum are nearby and around the corner you will find the Heineken Brewery. The Wetering circuit is one minute away with tram stops for lines 6, 7 and 10. Trams 16, 24 and 25 will take you directly to Central Station in 10 minute

Reviews (5.5 Fair)
A bed and breakfast with dorms, you can cook lunch and dinner. It is also a clean hostel. Run by some sympathic people from asia and another man we called "the sphinx" because he looked mysterious. If you go there, take the card of the hostel : "Hotel Spinx" ! Its position is cool because it is not far at all from the museums and enough close from te city center (you can go by foot). The price isn't bad, even if you can find lower if you reserved long time before your trip in Amsterdam.
Spent 4 days in a 7people room with toilet.Room and toilets always clean.Hotel crew was very kind. Reception and door open 24h: no curfew,key-card.Good position to visit the city:close to Leidseplein and trams just 50m.Possible to leave the luggage at the reception
The staff was very rude with everybody. The shwer was always cold.
Usefull, but nothing else.
Excellent hotel for the price and please disregard all the garbage you find in reviews as to the rudeness of the staff or the steep staircases (THEY ARE ALL STEEP IN AMSTERDAM!). We loved it - cheap, clean, and good location.
