The ¨private rooms are basically a corrogated metal room right off of a very busy street. It was very very loud and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. There was no hot water and after midnight, the water shut off until 6am. The owner of the hostel was nice and spoke some english, but when we tried to ask for help in booking an airline ticket to Santa Marta, he pushed us to take a bus instead so he could get a cut of the fare. After rainy season, the 11 hour bus ride took 24 hours due to road closures from mud slides. Bad advice for travelers and not worth the small amount of money we paid.
