City Lodge Stockholm is such a central Stockholm youth hostel that the bus/train station can be reached in a 3-minute walk. It provides mixed and female shared dormitories, with a total of 65 beds. Guest facilities include a common kitchen and free WiFi.

Room types
This is a small and familiar hostel, with only 65 beds. It provides female and mixed beds in dormitories with showers and toilets in the corridor. WiFi is free of charge and breakfast is served between 8.00/9.30am daily for only 60 SKR. Bed linen are compulsory, guests can use their own or rent them upon arrival. Duvets and pillows are provided. Sleeping bags are not allowed.
Location and surroundings
City Lodge is one of Stockholm's most central hostels, 1 block away (a 3-minutes walk) to the central railway and main bus station: that's where all the airport-connections depart and arrive to. The City Hall, the Old Town and the main shopping streets are all just right there!
Services and facilities
Guests facilities include a kitchen (no stove is available only microwaves). Luggage storage is free of charge as free is the Wi-Fi. There are 3 computers in the reception area, TV with cable channels in the dining-room.

I stayed with my 12 year old daughter and everything went very smoothly. I can recommend this hostel even if you have kids with you. Everyone was very nie. If I ever need a hostel in Stockholm again, I know where to book it.
no stove!!!!
I met some great people staying at this hostel (one of whom is destined to become a world leader... or so she said), but my dorm room consisted of little light, no working kitchen (of which no sign was posted and no one mentioned) and one bathroom for 18 people. I also don't like the fact that you cannot have a conversation past 11pm in the dining area. I would stay here again, but it would not be my first choice.

I chose the hostel city lodge, because it`s really great located, in the center of stockholm, close to everything, incl. to the city terminal. Perfect for traveller who are leaving at 3.30 am to reach the bus to the airport!
