Our hostel has the privilege of being a neutral point in the Cuban Capital as it is close to the oldest part of Havana and Vedado near, more modern part, with easy access from aiport and other parts of the city.
Hostal Robles Cayo Hueso can be reached in 25 minutes by taxi, 5 minutes walk to the University of Havana in the Vedado and 10 minutes from Old Havana.

Overall a very positive experience. The staff were very helpful (although they don't speak English), willing to give much information on the neighbourhood. The breakfast was also great. The location is good, not too far at all from the city centre but it is a moderately long walk.
Nice and flexible hosts, gave me a better room than I booked. Nice but a bit expensive breakfast.
In addition to being clean and confortable, HOSTAL ROBLES is the unique during our trip that we paid for the bed instead for the whole room, allowing us to pay very little. The staff is very nice and friendly. CHAO JULIO!
Very good, a little bit far from the center, but everything else was perfect!
There was no soap n the bathroom. There is also only one toilet / bathroom between at least 12 people so often had to wait a long time. When I asked the staff to organise another Casa Particulares in another town, the staff just pointed to another guest who had been there for a months and told me I should extend my stay, This is completely unacceptable, and is not what happens in the casa's in Cuba
