Vitae Hostel is the hostel with facilities, ambience, and soul! If you want something more from a hostel than just a bed, from the people who work and live there, if you want a community, an experience, and an atmosphere bursting with creativity, excitement and fun... welcome to Vitae, welcome to real hostel life. As part of the Budapest Party Hostels' Brand we are the least wild of the four, we still go out every night drinking, but also offer you a range of different options.

Room types
We offer clean, bright, spacious rooms, with hard to beat security and the real difference, attentive and caring staff who actually take an interest in all parts of your stay in Budapest. The hostel has a range of different dorms sizes all with shared bathroom facilities. All the rooms have been individually decorated by local street artists with designs unique to Hungary. All the rooms come with lockers for each guest, air conditioning and all linen is included.
Location and surroundings
Vitae Hostel is in the heart of the city in the 7th district. It is the old Jewish quarter but now more an area for restaurants and bars. It is the heart of the city's nightlife and some of the city's most famous ruin bars are only a short walk away. We are also in the downtown so a walk or quick public transport trip to all of the major sites. We are in between 2 major points being Oktagon and Blaha Lujza ter and as such close to major public transportation hubs.
Services and facilities
60% of our total floor space is sociable space so that there is a ton of room for you to chill, or play pool or table football, meet people or watch movies on our projector screen. We have 3 large modern kitchens, for you to cook for yourself or for us to cook for you, as we have in house cook-ups almost every night for just the cost of the ingredients. There is a beautiful smoking terrace with distant views of the top of the basilica, where people can meet and get to know other guests.

this hostel was awesom. staff really went out of there way to make sure everyone was having a good time with something different every night. perfect if your a lone traveller looking to meet people.
i didnt like this hostel.rooms were so cold and was semelled very bad
