Rent-a-Room's rooms are big, fresh, clean and attractively decorated. All the rooms are fully furnished and equipped with either double, single, twin, triple beds or dorm bunks, writing desk, shelf, armchairs, wardrobe and table/wall lamp.
Of course there is A/C (very important in Hong Kong).
Self-serviced laundry and dryer facilities are provided in the building. Cooking facility is available in some rooms with fully equipped kitchenette/pantry.
Location and surroundings
Rent-a-Room is conveniently located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, right next door to Jordan MTR (subway) station, and only two stops away from the central business district on Hong Kong Island.
Walking distance of the Star Ferry, the Kowloon-Canton Railway Station (for travelling to China and the New Territories) and China Hong Kong City Ferry Terminal (where the Macau and China ferries are located).
The Tsim Sha Tsui/Jordan area is perhaps the liveliest and most colorful part of Hong Kong.

Much better than the other place I stayed in in Causeway Bay. Very clean and helpful staff. 4 channels. Check their own web site since Hostelsclub.com's information is basically incorrect.
I found a new home in hongkong, so glad to find this nice homey place. I will definitely stay here again
We found the hotel quite easily following the directions given, although finding the reception office was not obvious – would have been good if there was a sign at the bottom of the stairs. Room was small but to be expected. Bathroom quite cramped which took some getting used to. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location handy (Jordan MTR, Nathan Road buses, Temple Night Market, eating options) Clean Quiet Refrigerator and valuables safe. Air conditioning worked well and we needed this. Note: beds quite hard by western standards (we didn’t mind this)
