Our 3* hotel, recently renovated, has 68 rooms (Single - Double - Triple - Suite). Warm, modern, tastefully decorated and are equipped bathroom with a bathtub or shower. All our rooms are equipped with private bath or shower. Our hygiene charter included a daily cleaning service with a renewal of towels.
Location and surroundings
Hotel Moderne du Temple is located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, between the Place de la République, the Buttes Chaumont and the vibrant cosmopolitan Belleville.
You will find near everything you need, bars, cafeterias, bakeries, supermarkets etc..
Canal Saint Martin, one of the places perhaps the least known of travelers but nevertheless one of the most enjoyable, is just a few steps from the hotel.

good, clean, nice staff, spoke about 4 languages. Really helpful. Walking distance from the centre and the station.
Receptionist (nite of 24/09/2010) should be more welcoming, rather than just asking us for our names, should place a more welcoming person, and less intimidating. Receptionist in the morning was very helpful and warm. Should provide bigger towels, and some sighseeing info. Signage could be lit at nite, Will stay again.

filthy crap hotel. I will never stay there again.. I could recommend maybe in worst case 1 night. But not more than that..
I do not suggest this hostel to anyone. I booked it and when Iwent there they cancelled my recervation without calling me. I have always reserved through hostelslculb and i have never had problems. So please do not go there, than I have had a lot of problems to find another room.
