There is quite a walk to the beach, but not that far, also bus station is at about 7mins walk. The hostel is avarage. The weird thing was the guy at reception. He acted just as a kapo in the concentration camp If you talked toop loud he was right away next you telling that you should keep quite So if you need silence to sleep that's the erfect place. If you want to party - its not really what you look for.

The hostel was OK, not very clean, but we had a private room with Jaffa street balcony and it was very close to the old city. Be very aware of prices that the hostel offers via hostelsclub.com site for private rooms. What really matters is an e-mail confirmation, which contains real price. I had to quarrel with staff at the check out about final payment, they seemed to be astonished by the price of private double room shown here.

If you want to be welcomed like a long lost relative. Go visit this place. Further it's strategically situated in the Galilee. To visit both the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights. The rooms are comfortable and give the privacy you need.

Dirty hostel on noisy street. Private rooms have "bathrooms" from plywood, without ventilation. Bad and dirty kitchen equipment. I do not recommend this hostel, it´s too expencive according to its "quality". The owner is dilettant.

It was OK. Huge breakfast and ideal location just 2 min away from Marina. Not big complaints only that staff was not as friendly as I've seen in other hostels; maybe cuz 't ain't ckpackers/Youth oriented but meant for affordable family accomodation. It's perfect if everything is set up for you in the city and not too much socialization needed.

- they have e.g. one person who tells you about the city, busses, etc. You can ask questions and he organizes partys etc - Very new and clean hostel (2010?) - Location in the new part of the city. When I was there (March2011), the tram was not working yet, but will work very soon. After that, it'll be a even better location! - When you arrive, find a bus/cab to "Davidska Square", busdrivers/cabdrivers know this better than the normal adress! - To Israel: Be aware that on Friday midday everything closes! So plan to visit things outside (parks, etc) for this time!! Otherwise its a wasted afternoon!

Watermelon seeds and hair on dingy bed with old stained mattress, kitchen only of marginal use, hardly warm water for the shower, paid for two nights and wanted to leave after one since the promised WiFi was nonexistent and I had to go to the police otherwise the manager would not give me my money back for the second night (kept saying that he had to call the owner for approval who, curiously, never picked up his phone until the police were involved). Overall very bad experience and we were glad to be out of there.
