The hotel is neat. It is actually a room in one of the residences there. So, you keep hearing all the voices from adjacent rooms. Check-in is at another place and had to walk a lot the first day. After that the room is very near to piazzale roma. No room service at all. And the blanket provided is quite scary.

I had a short visit to Venice. So I went out in the morning and got back in the evening. For me it was perfect because it is cheap, close to the center (on the islands!). But staff doesn't speak english. Just few words. And it is really hard to find ANY staff member before 9 am and after 7 pm. I had NO internet access. Also there was nobody on the floor when i came in the evening. But for me it was even better. So there is not a lot of oppotunity to have fun.

Chambers were pretty okay.. the toilets have been to dirty. There was no real bar or lobby in the hostel so there was no real contact between the guests. Position was okay, not near of the touristic centers but in a beautiful area with some nce little restaurant.

The hostel is very central, right next to rialto bridge. It was clean and the lady was nice but she didn't talk very good english, not really a problem!

Stayed 3 nights in a 5 bed bedroom. It was clean, the sheets were very clean, the only problem was that we found a centipede, but I suppose it is normal since Venice is a very wet place, and they had anti mosquito sprays. The guy who welcomed us was very friendly. There was a computer with internet to use for free. There were 2 small bathrooms, just one had a shower, but since there were just 2 rooms that was never a problem. The breakfast is nice, bread, milk, coffee, nutella, jam, etc, all you can eat.

Would recomend this place to anyone. Amazing location as it's literally 5 minutes walk to St.Mark's Square and other main attractions. The owner Emmanuel and his dad made us feel very welcome and went beyond their call of duty to give us all the local information.

I stayed there first in 2008 and it was great, but it seems to me that it's becoming worse now. In 2011 I stayed twice and every time my air-conditioner didn't work in one room there was no fridge as it was declared on the web-site. And it's really very hard to find balance between hot and cold water in the shower, that makes taking shower really uncomfortable. Food at the restaurant is good and not expensive, but waitresses are not very friendly. Best girls work at the Reception, very friendly and helpful.
