was told there wasn't any room available at Astro despite having reserved a month in advance. Was offered a room across the street at Imperator pensionhouse. Was dirty, no toilet seat, an old dirty mattress. in other words: a dump. Stayed one night. Moved me to Cherry pensionhouse next door the next morning. Was half as bad. Their "buffet breakfast" are toasts, jam and Nutella. The maid sleeps on the couch in the TV room. Stayed there 2 nights and moved out the next morning. The owner(s) own at least 4 pensionhouses on the same street (the 2 mentioned, plus Astro and B&B.) I Would NEVER send anyone to any of these 4 pensionhouses.

Great place to stay if you want to be away from the city at night. Easy to get downtown, takes about 45 minutes by bus then metro. For check-in and check-out you have to wait in line a fair amount, but other than that no real complaints. If you stay here, I suggest going in to the city in the morning and staying there all day to maximize your experience.

David's flat was well placed: not too far from the train station. It was a bit smoky in the hall, but the beds were very comfortable. I booked a 5 person room, and though there were 6 beds, there was only 1 other person besides the 3 in our group. There was hot water, and it was quiet all night. All a person needs for a good night's sleep.

If You expect **** (five star) standard - avoid this hotel. But if You like small, inexpensice, nice and sympatic place - Versailles is the best choice. I spent a fantastic time there in march 2008. Would I choose this place next time? Of course!
