If you value an authentic Palermo experience, in a classic East Palermo location, you will appreciate Fuitina. I did!

Our apartment was located in the center - 50 meters from the main street Roma in the square, it was very nice flat with a terrace overlooking the square. All nearby - supermarket, cafes, restaurants and all major attractions.The staff was very friendly and spoke english.

We had a wonderfull 3 night stay at A'to Casa. Feeling really like home, very clean, cosy, the hosts are a young couple ready to help with directions and informations. Could get a little bit of a waiting at the bathroom if are more guests in the house, but we didn't considered this an inconvenient, still great value for the money. On the instructions how to get there weve got with the reservation - could be a little bit confusing. Aparently is a bus comming from the airport8no. 122, i think) and has a stop very very close to the house. We took another bus from the airport that has a stop in Piazza Politeama. still not far from the B&B, like max. 10 min walk. Ask for information at the airport and a map, is very easy to find this way. The buss trip from teh airport takes about 35-40 min. Great position, very easy to get around. Don't go the sightseeing tour, too expensive(20euro) for something that easyly can be done by walking and having a map on your hands. Enjoy!

Perfect position, close to the centre with lots of possibilities. Staff cannot speak English, but otherwise they were pleasant, and everything can be done by nonverbal communication.

I can recommend this hotel for people who want to visit Palermo and its neighbourhood. It is very well situated just in the heart of Palermo old town. Rooms modestly but enough equipped. You can choose a room with bathroom or not - but in this case you must take into account that all toilets will be occupied.
