A quiet little hostel in the upper part of Manhatten away from most of the busy areas of New York. Central Park was right next door which was great for a morning stroll but it was a bit far from all of the main attractions as I soon found out. The staff were alright, not many of them round to chat to, but the ones who were there we're helpful. Rooms themselves were neat and clean mostly. Good place to stay if you don't want to be in the thick of things all the time. Transport after hours was a bit of an issue though.

Une expérience formidable. Le quartier est calme, on y trouve beaucoup de personnes de toutes origines. C'est très enrichissant. On se sent vraiment chez soi.Le propriétaire est très sympa, à l'écoute et nous a aider à de multiples reprises. Je conseille vivement cet endroit.

Adorei o Hostel. O fato de ter cozinha me fez economizar. Fiquei com meninas de cinco países, fizemos amizade e nos falamos até hoje.

This was my first time using hostelsclub and the experience at AAE was amazing. The manager cleaned up everyday. It was a very safe neighbodrhood. My trip had a few finicails but the manager was understanding and made it calm and safe for us. I would highly recomend that you stay here if you get the chance.

They are bunch of cheaters. I paid for first day of staying there in advance. The hostel was closed by official administration of the building where the hostel was established illegaly. Even if the hostel was closed one week before my arrival, neither nobody called my nor wrote me a message about such situation. I would have found other hostel if I had knew before - that would spare my nerves. The most important was that the hostel collected money and its owners were happy... To put it bluntly - do not trust them!

Hi guys, Just wanted to say that the accomodations were very convienient, but there was some trouble with roaches. That part was discusting. They were all over, when I woke up in the am, there was roach crawling on wall next to bed, YUCK.
