Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hostel for last new year's. Unfortunately I had terrible stomach-ache and ended up spending the nights in the hospital due to a burst appendix. I received a plant in the hospital, from Heidi, he said. Such a wonderful kind-hearted woman. We decided to stay a little longer so I could recover a bit more before driving back home again and this was no problem. Upon departure we received some chocolats (Swiss!) for the trip back home. Very friendly people.

Interior is shabby and run-down. Staff organisation is chaotic. Accommodation is acattered all over the place so our party of 6 was is different buildings.

This is a very horrible hostel. Heidi is a 90 some-odd year old woman with dementia. Having a conversation with her is like trying to do nuclear physics, it is hard. The place smells like a wet dog mixed with burnt hair and shit. The locals laughed when I told them I was staying at this hostel because they all know what Heidi is like. The shower was in my room, they literally installed a shower in a bedroom with 5 beds, it is ridiculous. Do not stay at this hostel!!!!

generally speaking ,I like the place very much . the house holder is a seneior laday, very kind. kichen facility is good, we take our food and cooked there , it's very money saving in swiss. only draw back is the rats

The staff are not helpful at all. They complain when we wanted to pay separately (we were a group of 5) and they also add 3% for credit card payment. We booked a room with bathroom but we got a room with a shared bathroom with 2 other rooms. So be aware when you book thinking that you are going to have a bathroom in your room. The cleanliness could be way better.
