This is a great hostel, just two metro rides away from the centre. Very clean and in a lovely quiet area of Barcelona but near some lovely shops and great coffee places. The only negative is the hostel was accessable by the back door which is in a dark street, not the place a woman wants to go down on her own late a night. Other than that perfect place to stay whilst visiting Barcelona and because it is quiet at night you get a great nights sleep.
Very nice and cooperative staff; new building; simple but new furniture, good mattress (not sagging!), close to metro station; no traffic noise, but unfortunately construction noise!

The hostel is close to the metro L3 Lesseps stop(10 min from Placa Catalunja and from the Rambla) in Gracia borrough that is very nice and typical.It is close to Parc Guell too(one stop more in metro). Our room was little but clean and furnished with 2 desks and tv.The bath is quite new and clean.The only thing not so good is the shower that is too small (not 90x90 cm but 60 cm i think) and it was a little complicate to have a relaxing time in it!no bidet(only in italy).the room has got air conditioning and heating so it is comfortable.the staff was very gently and funny.there is one common room with pc with free internet adsl connnection,a tv,sofa and magazines, a microwave and a frigor for all the costumers.Close to the hostels there are 2 supermarkets so you can buy food and drinks there.
I'm very pleased with this place. It was 10 min from the center with the metro. The hostel itself seems to have been renewed very recently. Rooms are clean , bathroom too( i was in private room) there is tv, i-net, microwave and fridge in the room. Staff is friendly.There is wi-fi and free access to the internet. I recomend this place.
