You can stay in a mixed 4 or 6 bed dorm room. The bathrooms are modern and newly renovated. Room rates include free WiFi throughout the building, luggage storage, linen and city maps. Towels are available to rent from reception.

The hostel is located in the centre of Leidseplein - a vibrant nightlife hub in Amsterdam. There are many clubs, bars, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Hostel Orfeo is also 500 meters away from the famous Dutch museums, the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, the Museum of Modern Art. This is a fabulous location at a great price!

The hotel lies perfectly central in Leidseplein which is the area to go out and have fun. There are a lot of restaurants very close and you can find italian food for cheap prices. The hotel could be a bit cleaner but it s absolutly ok and the owner is super friendly and always open for all questions. Recommendable!
THEY OFFER A FREE BREAKFAST AND IT TURNS OUT TO BE A LOAF OF BREAD WITH MANY DIFFERENT EUROPEAN SPREADS FOR IT !!! WHEN WE FIRST CHECKED IN I BOOKED IT FROM THE WEBSITE SO SINCE I USED A CREDIT CARD ON THE WEBSITE TO BOOK THEM I PRESUMED THAT THEY TOOK A CREDIT CARD AT THE HOTEL...WRONG..I HAD TO GO TO USE THEIR SIS HOTEL TO PAY.BUT IT WAS IN THE EXCELLENT PART OF THE CITY,UPTOWN EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT BY THE TRAIN STATION ALLOT OF ACTION GOING ON AROUND EVERY CORNER ..CLOSE TO MUSEUMS AND BREWERY..THE STAFF HAD NO CLUE ON WHAT WAS GOING ON..IT WAS CLEAN, NO BUGS OR THAT SORT..THE ROOM WE STAYED IN HAD A TV..GOOD FOOD ALL AROUND..GOOD TIMES

We have a 7 days cancellation policy for all bookings. No-shows, late cancellations and changes after arrival shall be charged the 100% of the total booking. Otherwise you need to notify us about your cancellation by email. Credit card payment will have to pay a service charge of 5%. We ask authorization on the given credit card (not a charge); unfortunately we will not keep the reservation if we cannot get authorization. For shared dorm we have an age restriction min 18 years and max 45 years, and we have a max. stay of 5 days. IMPORTANT: For group bookings from 4 people or more, we have a 20-day cancellation policy cancellation, no-shows, late cancellations and changes after arrival shall be charged the 100% of the total booking. Group booking must pay a deposit of 100 euro a room for, and one passport, this we be given back when the rooms is checked and is ok. Any damage to the room by the guest must be paid to hostel, and the hostel hold the right to check the person out without any refund at any time. Cancellation policy during special periods: During New Years (28th Dec to 2nd Jan ), Easter holidays, Queen’s Day (26th and 27th April), Pinkster and the IBC event (10th to 17th September ) we have a 20-day cancellation policy.
