The Grandeur of this Queen Anne style Victorian home built by Frank and Mary Henderson from Lake Superior Sandstone never ceases to amaze visitors. Built in 1895, this Queen Anne style home is registered on The National Register of Historic Places. It has been featured in literature & national television, and is one of Kalamazoo’s most treasured historical landmarks. Be sure not to miss this gem of living history!

In the pure French tradition of a winemaker in Bordeaux, the Henderson Castle is proud to announce the completion of our wine cave: a beautiful underground room cut into the hill near the castle connecting to the remains of the old tunnel. The wine cave is complemented by a large patio and sky deck with a lovely view.
