In Porto city center, easy to reach with public transportation, it only takes you less than 10 minutes by foot to get to “Bolhão” subway station with direct connections to the airport.

The location is good, the room was spacious, it was fairly clean BUT we found a used condom in the bathroom waste bin which the cleaner had obviously declined to remove, and the shower/bath area suffered from a lot of mould. The room was quite cold with no heating (may be better in summer) and only one of about three or four light bulbs actually worked. The electrics were clearly old and in need of updating, but during the day the room was bright enough because of the large windows. Also, you had better brush up on your Portuguese because its the only language spoken by all the staff we encountered, no English, French or Spanish which was unusual as most people involved in the tourist industry that we met, had good/excellent French or English. Overall, for the price its ok, if you are not too fussy and despite its drawbacks I would stay there again!

Excelente
Very nice and friendly Service. But even in a cheap hostel windows should be lockable and toilet seats supposed to be stable. The hostel is close to the city, but the street is very loud.
