About Ashton House Hostel
Ashton House is a privately run hotel, situated in a lovingly restored Victorian building. On arrival you will be greeted by friendly, chatty reception staff who will endeavour to make your stay pleasant and memorable.
Located only 5 minutes walking to Manchester train Station, Ashton House is housed in a early 1900's Victorian building fully restored and provide accommodation in private rooms and shared dormitories. Common guest room and secure lockers

There are 20 rooms in Ashton House. We have three private double en-suite rooms which have recently been fully refurbished to a high standard.
We also have private double rooms which share bathrooms with the rest of the hotel. So, you get a private room but for a cheaper price!

Location and surroundings
Ashton House is located 5 minutes walk from the city centre and all the shopping, entertainment and points of interest Manchester has to offer. We are located on the edge of the town centre's business and shopping areas, close to residential apartments so the location is ideal for quick access to town but great if you wish to escape the hustle and bustle.
Services and facilities
Ashton House has a communal room with coffee and tea making facilities, microwave and fridge available to all guests. This room also features a plasma TV screen.
Vending machines with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cold drinks and other snacks are available in reception.
We also offer a range of additional items such as plug socket adaptors or towels and toiletries. These are available to hire or purchase at reception desk.

Stinks! Stinks! Stinks! Stinks! Stinks! How god how it stinks!! I didn't have a shower in 4 days because everything was AWFUL. Bathrooms with no lights, pee stink and bad staff (they we're in pijama).
