Room types
Hostal Mindanao has over 30 rooms with bathroom and heater. You're welcome to bring your pet and wifi is aivalable for skype-users. The hostel works with the Spa Center Aquatherapia and the Ski Resort 'La Covatilla', so you will get a discount for a 60 minute spa treatment. It really is the perfect place for a city trip (there are also wheelchair accessible rooms).

Salamanca is the perfect choice for tourits, business people, families and groups that want to explore the culture, the legendary food and the extraordinary nightlife. The city is part of the UNESCO World Heritage and offers a lot of historical attractions.

The hostel is provided with parking lots, a breakfastroom and a community area. Various tours and exhibitions in different places are organized. Also you have the possibility to do language courses all year long and explore the surroundings with guided tours (in the morning, at midday and in the evening). The hostel is at the perimeter of the historical city center and thus only 500m away from Plaza Mayor. Staff are generally friendly. The only disadvantage was that our room constantly smelt odd. That, however, may seem less of an inconvience to other travellers.
Very nice! The front desk person/owner is very nice and helpful and speaks English very well. The location is very good... on the road that circles the old city. The old city is not very large, so it is an easy walk to the center (Plaza Mayor) or the other side of town. Americans who want eggs for breakfast at a good price will find a McDonalds right off Plaza Mayor selling Egg McMuffins (almost unheard of in Spain!). I'm not a McD's fan normally, but I was "jonesing" for eggs at a decent price! Salamanca is a wonderful town... enjoy!
It was just great! Very clean, charming room, with a location close to the center but still calm. The staff was also very friendly. Walls are not too thick, but if you have good neighbors, there's nothing to worry about-unfortunately we didn't.
Very good localization and nice staff, Kleber was very helpful and nice to talk with, he gave us nice tips :-). the only problema was the noise during the night, we could ear everything that happened in the room next door, and we sleep very litle in the 2 nights we've stayed
