Room types
Taz-mania offers great value for money with bed, breakfast (optional), sheets, towels, hot shower and lockers. There are two 4 single beds rooms, two 6 single beds room, two twin bed private rooms which have their own private bathrooms. There are shared bathroom facilities for our visitors.
Location and surroundings
Taz-mania is located in Beşiktaş in a short walk from Taksim. Taksim Square is the main centre which has many pubs, night clubs, cafes, restaurants. Most of the main tourist attractions are within short distance such as Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Topkapı Palace, Galata Tower, Hagia Sophia. The hostel is a good starting point to explore this fascinating city. Also, the transportation facilities are very close to the hostel - you can get the ferry, boat, tram and bus in 5 minutes’ walk.
Services and facilities
Taz-mania has a shared kitchen in which you can find lots of appliances. The hostel has a small yard where you can get something to eat or drink and meet people from all over the world, relax and share the internet. There is a market just opposite the hostel where you can find several means of food and drink. Its services include a free Wi-Fi within the building, 24-hour reception, camera security and a safe, comfortable environment.

Such a good price for what is on offer. Great location (short walk from ferry and bus, and short bus ride away from Kabatas tram which goes direct to grand bazaar, Galata tower, blue mosque and other landmarks), clean, nice kitchen facility and small but intimate courtyard area, which really encourages interaction between guests. I only stayed for one night, but had a great time talking to my fellow guests (all guests sat outside and got involved) outside for hours before bed.
This is a fantastic hostel. You feel like you are part of a big family. It's clean, friendly staff and awesome people, and best of all, it's in a great location.
Great guys!! I stay in many places in Istanbul and this was the best. Is a small hostel, and there are just 2 bathrooms, so you have to wait sometimes to use it, but you just feel like in family ;)
Nice Place, though a shame that the interior of the rather old building is so modern.
Great hostel, most fun I had stayed ten days. Waste of time atmosphere, the staff helped me with everything I needed. I learned a lot from. Arife she the bast.
