Great stay in DC!
Very nice place. You feel like home. The room could have been cleaner. We had the dormitory on the lower level and it was a little bit dark, humid and stinky. But nothing terrible. They had an issue with the toilets when we were there but still, one shower and one toilet is not a lot.
Great place to stay with people in the hotel. I recommend it
Just great! I really love that place (building, rooms, common rooms, music and hot water in the shower). And kind and helfull staff. I really enjoyed my stay.
The location is good, near the center of Washington, and the connection to the internet is fast and reliable. However,first room was very dirty (the second was better), it is often difficult to contact with the staff, there was very cold in my room and there was a problem with water (low pressure and cold). Therefore I wouldn't recommend this hostel.

Any kind of open flames, including lit cigarettes or burning candles, are not allowed in the room. Additional charges may also occur due to having other guests leave (harassment, etc) - it's a shared environment so please be considerate. No (extreme) physical intimate behavior allowed; No excessive drinking allowed. Any cancellation of the day of Check-in will be charged the full nights stay. Please be courteous and inform us immediately of a cancellation or change in plans. Reservations that have not checked in, may make changes 24 ahead of check-in time with no fees. Upon arrival, full payment will be accepted in cash (USD)/travelers checks or credit cards VISA/MASTERCARD/DISCOVER. We do not accept personal checks. Group reservations (5 guests and more) will be charged 15% non-refundable deposit. Our hours are from 10AM to 10PM.
