This hostal was great place to stay. Stayed with 2 friends in one big room, 2 big beds- one comfortable, the other not that much, however the casa was really good, dining area, where we ate and rest, was big and comfy. The host was the greatest and most helpful person ever. Stay there
We stayed in the two houses next to Don Carlos and we really appreciated the welcoming people, the nice roof terrace and the very good food.
Carlo is a perfect host. His Casa is located in the center of Santiago, close to the main sights and streets. Going out is fun and Cuban people do not hesitate to offer a dance. I can very much recommend this place.
Don Carlos is an excellently run casa particular in a great location. Carlos speaks excellent English and helped us plan day trips out of Santiago de Cuba with a driver (who was also excellent) and a pick up from the bus station. I highly recommend this casa
This casa is right in the centre of Santiago de Cuba which is great for exploring, though at the same time the centre of town can get a bit frenetic! We were here for a couple of days so for us it was perfect, and once you get inside it was like a refuge from the madness outside! Don Carlos was a lovely host and was interesting to talk to, and he came to pick us up from the airport in spite of an 11 hour delay to our flight, which was lovely
