People are ready to help with information. Good space in the bedroom and clothes are clean, but toilet is in a different floor. One of the rooms is tinny and is to be avoided. There is no internet conection as it is suggested. Location is good to get to know other places than the Casco Historico but it is more difficult to come back at night.

It was an amazing stay! Isabel is such a nice lady, very helpful, made us feel like we were at home with mum!:). The rooms were great!Clean (as the whole house!), with ventilation and air con.The location was good, just by the Malecon:), short taxi (or bike taxi) ride from the main tourist attractions. The breakfast was cheap and delicous!!Great coffee, eggs, fruits I highly recommend it! Thank you Isabel!

During my trip to Cuba, Isabel seemed to be the most helpful and nice person. 100% recommendation. Do not hesitate to try Isabel's breakfast - each morning we got new, amazing juice prepared by Sandra - Cook Chef! I already miss the atmosphere of this casa.

We had an excellent experience at Isabel's house. The room was very clean and comfortable, we looked forward to the delicious breakfasts every day and Isabel was extremely helpful. You can come and go as you please and someone is always there to answer any questions that you might have. We stayed for three nights and then traveled for a week before returning to Havana where we stayed one more night at Isabel's house. We were able to leave some of our things there while we traveled. They clean the rooms each day. They are very trustworthy and you can feel comfortable leaving your money/valuables in your room which was very important for us because as US citizens we couldn't access money in Cuba and had to carry a large amount of cash with us. We would definitely go back and highly recommend staying at this casa particular.
I am very sorry to say that, but it was the most disappointing experience I have ever had with the booking websites and, in this case additionally, - with casa in Cuba. We've travelled for 3 weeks around Cuba, have seen and stayed in many casas, but our first one, in Havana, was a shock for 3 nights. We were too tired and inexperienced in the beginning to find something better right away. We've learned a lot. First of all, the photo nr. 1 is from another address, a couple of buildings away, Animas 966, you will have breakfast there (Isa herself is living there and renting some rooms there too - under the same booking name "Casa Isabel"). The casa on Animas 956 has 2 rooms WITHOUT a private bathroom (Hostelsclub, please change it for the other tourists' sake to "shared"). For the bathroom you need to go downstairs, pass the weird old guy (mostly) sleeping on the coach (showed on photo nr.9). And the bathroom is dirty. You do not want to use it. The old guy switches off the water supply for the day so imagine the toilette by the evening. Disgusting. One more thing to mention - you will get the key to the room only, so you will need to knock on the outer door and pray that the guy can hear you. The casa is incorrectly showed on the map - it is on Animas between the streets Soledad and Oquendo (attn. Hostelsclub). ********* Stay away from this casa! There are other options for the same price.
