Villa Sigurata Old Town, Guest House in Dubrovnik

This is mt first time to write a review, after staying in Villa Sigurata on 29th and 30th September 09 on our way to Medjugorje, I felt I had to let others know about this place.. Villa Sigurata is very centrally located in the Old Town, it is 2 min walk from the center.. It is everything you could ask for and we have travelled quite a bit but never before have we stayed in a place so convient to everything.. Nikolina told us to call her when we arrived at the bus stop and she would meet us, as I was taking my phone out to call her their she was standing beside me waiting for us.. she is so so helpfull and couldnt do enough for us, on the last day she gave us space to leave our luggage so we didnt have to trip it around with us for 4 hours untill we caught the bus.. I cannot recommend this place high enough.. For a holiday or anyone travelling on like ourselves to Medjugorje where most of the time because of bus connections you have to spend a night in Dubrovnik, Villa Sigurata is the ideal place to spend a night in the OldTown, which is well worth seeing We will definatly be staying their in the future...

Great location in old city, nice traditional atmosphere inside. Be prepared to climb lots of stairs to get to the house (typical for old city), and shared bathroom is on the first floor of the house with bedrooms on 2nd & 3rd floors. The hot water didn't last very long but we mentioned it to Nikolina, who said she'd check if the hot water heater needed to be changed. Our stay was short but very nice and the price was right!

We had a great stay! The rooms are in the old town, so you cant get any nearer. The owner (Nicolina) was so helpfull and welcoming. Recommended!!! =)

Owner very helpful and friendly. Big problem with A/C-leaked water untill fixed. Room really too small for 2. Problem with kitchenette being downstairs.

The location is second to none. Right in the middle of the old town, only minutes to everything Dubrovnik has to offer. Plenty of restaurants close by, and the Host is pleased to offer assistance in choosing the best one for your needs. Rooms are fantastic: modern and comfortable.
