There is no place that allows you to experience true Chinese culture and history more than Beijing. Today, the countdown to the New Year has become a major event in the city, and the huge and magnificent event will definitely make you remember the first day of 2019 for quite a while!

Head to the liveliest places in the evening and celebrate the countdown to welcome the New Year. When it's dawn you have to go to Tiananmen Square, watch the first day of new year's national flag ceremony, and start the yeat ahead.

After the countdown, you can go to places like Nanluoguxiang, Gulou, and Houhai for a midnight bbq (you can even try eating traditional snake!!). With neon signs lit up all around the city at night, you can enjoy a beautiful nighttime Beijing which is completely different from daytime Beijing.

The Light Festival in The Solana Lifestyle Shopping Park runs from December 2018 to March 2019, where you go to some concerts - but if you want to enjoy yourselves, please keep warm!
