It is not the age that stops a traveler from flying...
Who said there's a perfect age to travel? Some people claim the age of 25 is the right one, but why not 23, 30 or 50? How can you stop a traveler from flying if he is, by definition, free?
It is absolutely true that a journey is experienced in a different way according to age, but it doesn't mean that you shouldn't travel in all the different stages and ages of your life.
YOU START WITH YOUR FIRST TRIP…
After high school, you start travelling with friends. What you feel is strong excitement, a newborn feeling because these are the first travels by yourself; everything is new, everything's there to be discovered - all the way from choosing the right hostel, the right destination and so on.
Probably, your priority will be to relax, have fun, not to stress at all, not having too many plans but more like a cocktail in your hand, fair enough, this is part of the game.
...TO BE CONTINUED…
And then you grow up, you carry on your shoulder your previous travel experiences. This is a sort of a period of transition, where your tastes become clear, you know exactly what type of a traveler you want to be, backpacker or not. You will understand if walking could be part of your trip or taking a bus sounds a better idea.
Probably you haven't settled down yet, so you need to try and test yourself, you need to buy a ticket and leave straight away. You are still a little bit restless, though not as much as you were when you started to travel, but you are not as careful either as if you had a family to look after.
...AND THEN YOU CAN'T STOP ANYMORE
From solo travels or with friends to family travels (in the 90% of the cases), likely you will travel less than before, but you keep moving and seeing the world, trying to save as much money as you can in accomodation and transportation, but you still travel - and luckily you do!
When you retire, things get simple on a side and less simple on the other, because you have more time to invest in travel but you aren't that young anymore and your body knows it, too. However, do you think the passion you have for travel would just fade away? Should you look your life missing those days when you were still 25? No, you shouldn't, rather you have to feel happy to have the chance to see the world through your experienced eyes, and discovering a different kind of travelling.
World was made to be explored, man was born to explore it and there's indeed no age to travel! The only thing existing is the variety of way to experience traveling depending on the period you plan them.
