It's time to start thinking about where to go to see the famous Christmas markets

If you like and have Christmas spirit inside you, you can not miss going to one, which are always spread throughout various cities around the world. You will always be able to try typical food and drinks, buy what still remains to offer and ... expect a lot of fun in a super nice environment!

We have here some suggestions of cities where you can celebrate Christmas with the best markets:

Copenhagen, Denmark

Tivoli Gardens

The most famous Christmas market is in the tivoli gardens, in the center of the city, where it meets several attractions in one place.

Every year, there is a different Christmas decoration theme so are you curious to know what it is this year? Well... you will only find out by going there!

In December, you can still watch the show of waters and lights on Lake Tivoli. Needless to say, this one is absolutely gorgeous! This show of waters plus the thousands of colored lights, make this site unique.

Prague, Czech Republic

The most important and largest market in Prague is located in the Old Town Square. Here, there is a giant decorated Christmas tree and, around it, several souvenir shops and traditional food and drink.

You will have the opportunity to try traditional Christmas candies, such as braided cake (vánočka), vanilla or nut crackers. In terms of drinks, you can try svařák (hot wine) or Medovina (honey wine).

Munich, Germany

Münchner Christkindlmarkt

Never thought to go to Munich? During the Christmas month, it's a great time to do so as you will see this city filled with magic and bright lights! The oldest and well-known market is at Marienplatz, the Münchner Christkindlmarkt, possessing numerous tents selling numerous things. Also, music is what you will not miss because there are daily concerts!

It will start already on November 27, 2017.

Óbidos, Portugal

This 'Christmas Village' starts on November 30 until December 31, 2017. Here you can find all the characters that are part of Christmas' history: gnomes, Santa Claus, reindeer, Christmas trees, snowmen and much more! Do not miss the opportunity to live this experience so close to the stories you heard as a child.

Winter Wonderland

London, the wonderful city chosen by many, has a Christmas market named as Winter Wonderland. This is located in Hyde Park.

You can find several stalls, an ice rink, live music, circus, skating/ballet shows and even many places to eat.

There are new attractions for this year 2017 such as the 'Magical Ice Kingdom Deep Sea Adventure' full of ice and snow sculptures and 'Cinderella on Ice'. As you would expect you will not miss a Big wheel to see the beauty of this park.
