This is the ideal youth hostel for everyone who wants to explore Flensburg, but espescially for sport groups and active people.
Almost in Denmark: Flensburg is Germanys most northern city. Coined by the sea and the port, the old town of Flensburg with it's many small events like the 'Rum-Regatta', attracts a lot of visitors. Beach - shipping - boat tours - here everything is possible.

The Youth Hostel Flensburg has been modernized 2011. With a big terrain near the forest, it offers you the possibility to get active, to relax and to explore the city at the Danish border. It has 178 beds, most of them in 3, 4 and 6 bedrooms and a lot of the modern rooms are provided with a bathroom. There are also seperated rooms for the leader.
Location and surroundings
The youth hostel is located in the Mürwik district, in the middle of the Volkspark and it connects the advantages of a location close to the city with green and relaxing surroundings.
Services and facilities
A real highlight for sport groups! Directly besides the youth hostel you can find a stadium with a tartan track, a long jump facility and rings. In cooperation with the athletics club Weiche there are ideal training conditions for highjumping and pole vaulting. The running tracks in the Volkspark are suitable for intensive fitness training and if you wish, you can ask for experienced trainers with different key areas. The swimmingpool and the gym are close by as well.
