About Umbrella House Osaka
Umbrella house is newly renovated in September 2016. Everything is clean and lovely! If you prefer to enjoy a bit of a quiet life in Osaka, we are ideal for you! Although we are not right at the city centre, it is only 3mins train ride to Tenooji, 20mins metro away from Namba. There is also direct train to Nara at the closest JR station which is great for a day trip!
You can go out to enjoy site seeing around the city in the day, then relax and enjoy the night back in Umbrella House!
Umbrella House is a nice and small hostel in Osaka, with a BBQ area and and a bar where you can enjoy a beer.

Umbrella House has 3 rooms in total, which fits 4, 5, 6 people respectively. All rooms equipped with bunk beds, private lockers, privacy curtains, bedside lamp, hangers, mirror, clean linen and air conditioning. Rooms are fairly spacious with space for your luggage and backpack.
All toilets, washing basins and shower rooms are shared. We have 1 unisex toilet, 1 female toilet, 1 male toilet, 3 male toilet bowls, 4 washing basins and 2 shower rooms.
Location and surroundings
Umbrella House located in a great neighbourhood with many supermarkets and eatery around! There is a C&C wholesale supermarket right next to us, less than one minute walk. 7-11 and more supermarkets can be reached within 5-10mins. A local onsen bath house is about 2 mins walk which you can enjoy Japanese public bath, sauna and Jacuzzi for only 440 yen! There are plenty of local restaurant which you can taste authentic osaka food for a much cheaper price than downtown area.

Umbrella House has 3 areas that you can mingle with other guests. 1 is the reading corner with many travel books and magazine; 2 is the living room with sofa and sitting area which you can play cards, games or simply chit chat with each others. 3 is the roof top which you can enjoy your beer and BBQ.
There are some freebies in Umbrella House, Coffee, Tea, clean towels, toothpaste, shampoo, soap are all provided! High speed Wi-fi is everywhere in the house. All rooms are air-conditioned.
