Room types
Socket Hostel is the best place to stay if you want to eat out, see live entertainment, enjoy numerous pubs, cafes and restaurants, see local attractions, and in other words enjoy the real Taipei. Dorm, twin, and double rooms as well as 4 private rooms are available as your options. Soft mattresses with clean linen in the rooms, brighten bathrooms with hot shower, and a cozy communal space with free internet access and big tables are provided. Not to mention that travel guides and maps.
Location and surroundings
From TPE airport
By bus: Bus #5502 is the best choice to get here since it stops not even 100 meter away from Socket, and the fare is just NTD140. Get off the bus at 'Veterans Service Center”. You can also take the Blue line MRT from Taipei Main Station to SYS Memorial Hall station. Once you get out of the metro, follow the exit 5 to get here (about 800 meters).
From TSA airport
We suggest you take the taxi from the airport to Socket since the fare is just about TWD100.
