Shanghai Soho 1933 International Hostel, located along the Suzhou Creek, the mother river of Shanghai, is only a five-minute walk from metro station line 1. Only a five-minute walk from one of the famous food street, Huang He road. Only a ten-minute walk to People’s Square, our very convenient location enables you to absorb the essence of metropolitan Shanghai.
We provide a full cocktail bar and café, free internet, pool table, a large selection of books in our library, musical instruments, large-screen movie room, conference room, bicycle rental, laundry facilities, expert travel information, tickets booking, luggage service and Zen meditation area on the roof.
Personnel is not able to speak english. They are rude and do not try to help in your doubts about excursions or how to get places.
The bar is cool, but there is not party any day of the week.
Public rooms are not clean but private rooms are very nice.
Although location and athmosfere is great i would not repeat my experience in Shangai Soho Youth Hostel, when you are in China you do not need a nice hostel but a helpful staff to help you with the difficulty of the language and the city.
