The hostel offers accommodation in mixed dorms with bunk beds, lockers and individual lighting. All rooms and dorms have a private bathroom and air conditioning / heating.
There are also rooms with double bed (with and without view of the Cathedral), with TV and rooms with 2 to 3 single beds. All public areas and rooms at the Hostel have access to free Wi-Fi.
Location and surroundings
The Hostel is located in the historic center of the city of Coimbra, which was recently considered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Located next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Coimbra (Old Cathedral/ Sé Velha) is about 150 m walking from the University of Coimbra, the most renowned Portuguese university and one of the main tourist attractions of the country. That is why Coimbra is called “The City of Students” because of the large student population.
Services and facilities
There is a guest lounge with a TV, equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and dining utensils. They can also have access to the terrace / patio.
Breakfast is not included in the rates. Served on request at our 'Aromas da Sé' Coffee Shop.
This cafeteria is next to the Hostel, which also serves light snacks, drinks and has a small shop with some local products.
