Room types
The rooms range from private (Ensuites and Twins ) to dormitories for eight people, complete with access to large and modern bathrooms and hot showers 24 hours.
We do have a female dormitory and mixed dormitory, being equipped with bunk beds designed to provide maximum comfort with integrated lockers, individual reading lights and electrical outlets.
Access to rooms is insured by electronic cards.
Bed linen is included and there is also the possibility to rent towels.
Location and surroundings
In the vicinity of 'Santa Maria ', there are many points of interest, at short walking distances (2 min):
- Beach and beach complex
- The Museum of Contemporary Art
- Museum of Electricity
- The Farmers' Market
- The Avenida do Mar
Buses are also very close to the hostel.

The Santa Maria Hostel has a large common living room with comfortable sofas, armchairs and TV.
Upstairs a mezzanine with puffs and reading area will allow you to relax or use the free Wi - Fi Internet access, that is also available throughout the building.
Also available is a fully equipped kitchen with dining area where guests can cook and eat their meals.
You can also enjoy a meal or drink on the ground floors restaurant or bar.

The hostel is a elegant work of art. exudes a rich old atmosphere. Everyone is left ti their own devices, but we might prepare dinner together in tho cozy kitchen. How well I was taken care of when I got a positive corona test in a foreign city. Than you!
