About Red Star Surf and Yoga Camp
We will get you far away from mass tourism into a small quiet fishing village Famara on the north coast of Lanzarote (Canary Islands, Spain).
You will be surrounded by waves, mountains, pristine landscapes and beautiful beaches.
The whole north of the island is a nature reserve protected by UNESCO, because of it’s importance for the balance of our planet’s ecosystem.
You are welcome to our hostel where you will be immersed in the surf universe. We offer a wide variety of activities to surf and others related with other sports such as yoga, kitesurfing etc.You can find accommodation for families, individuals, couples or a group of friends.

Room types
The Red Star surf houses consist of 24 rooms and can accommodate up to 36 guests. You can choose between a private room, or just a bed in a shared bedroom. Surf houses are all situated at walking distance to the beach and our surf school center in Caleta de Famara, so you can enjoy most of your holidays!
Location and surroundings
Our surf houses suit perfectly to the surfer’s and kiter’s needs. All the properties have fully equipped kitchens. At the same time, the supermarkets are in only a few minutes walking distance. The local supermarket choice is a bit limited, opposite to large supermarket chains. They offer a quite good choice of basic products, especially relevant to mention the fresh local fruit and vegetables. The restaurants and bars offer fresh and delicious food, and all this at very affordable prices.
Services and facilities
Each guest has access to a shared bathroom with a shower, a shared fully equipped kitchen and the rooftop terrace with ocean view. In the common lounge with access to the little terrace, guests can relax after the tiring day of surfing, kitesurfing or yoga, looking through some surfing magazines or enjoying the big flat screen TV with plenty of surfing movies.
