About Project Uchi
Project Uchi is a guesthouse accommodating a limited number of 10 guests per day. We provide simple breakfast daily, however please feel free to use our kitchen. Here also stays a tailor mama to stitch you travellers' worn out pants during your journey. Come join us at Uchi. To end your curiosity, Uchi means home!
Project Uchi started off with the idea from collected Couchsurfing experiences.

Room types
The bunk beds are built sturdy and each guest gets their bamboo blinds separator for a piece of privacy we could maximally offer in a dormitory. We would love to introduce Malaysian culture and offer our utmost services to each guest travelling here.
Location and surroundings
The locals here bond over supper. We are not sure how much gluttony your stomach could handle... but financially it is very affordable! We love how we could access to different night markets from the same guesthouse ranging from 3 - 15 minutes.
We are 7 minutes walk to Taman Bahagia LRT station!
We also offer a ride back from SS2 Square at selected pick up points.
Services and facilities
The hostel can only fit maximum 10 guests in a day. House cleaning is done on a daily basis. Security wise, the hostel is located in a quiet and peaceful suburban area with patrolling police cars and locally hired security guards. We provide simple breakfast however you may also bring your food to cook at our kitchen during all times. Other amenities and facilities include air-con room, laundry cleaning, WIFI and night arrivals’ transportation (after 8pm) from Taman Bahagia LRT station.
