Reviews of Ostello Santa Fosca - CPU Venice Hostels
A very nice hostel near to the centre but still peacefull, a bit apart from the main steets. Security was good as it was possible to enter the hostel area only by using a key. The staff was very helpful and the toilets had good showers and were clean. Unfortunately it's not possible to have a breakfast at the hostel. Because it's an old church some of the rooms can be quite cold in March! Luckily they let me change the room when I complained my room was cold and the second room was much better and warmer.
Great value hostel, very clean and friendly staff. Ideally located, close to the railway station but in quiet streets.
It was a pleasant stay and safe. Nice building- part of an old church, nice garden, quiet. I arrived late (and wrote that on the booking) but I asked someone of the student dept next door and it seemed they were waiting for me to hand over the key. Too bad there's no breakfast!
Great hostel with friendly staff and in an easy-to-access location. Ideal for a peaceful stay. Shame about the lack of kitchen!
Great hostel very clean and comfortable with a pretty cool location inside the ruins of a church!
Very nice place. The safty problem reported by some reviews has now been solved by using electronic keys and camera. I think it is quite save now.
Good and affordable place. The staff members were polite. However, they did clean up my sheets and pieces of my clothes, which I never got back, after first night of my stay. Apparently, you have to mark your bed really well, otherwise it will be cleaned as if you never stayed there and your stuff might be gone forever!
