The rooms are bright and spacious, mattresses new and comfy and the guests kitchen modern and fully equipped. Each guest has a large locker with locks provided at reception free of charge. The large sunny terrace is a great place to meet other travellers and just chillout.
Location and surroundings
Olive Tree is only 5 minute walking from Bari Central Station and 10 minutes to the historic old town and sites such as the Basilica of Saint Nicholas, Cathederal and Castle.
The trendy cafe's and bars of Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Piazza Ferrarese are just 10 minutes on foot, in no more than 20 minutes on fot you can reach the beach!

Very friendly and helpfull staff, you'll get detailed information about the city. the shared bathrooms are cleaned every day but wet floors are a mess. breakfast is awesome! location is close to the train station, you need 15-20 minutes to the harbour and city center with shops and restaurants
I had a nice time in Olive Tree. The room was clean and comfortable, location is good, and staffs were super! Feels like home :)
Very nice place, close to railway station, nice rooms, not to little space, there is a kitchen, great breakfast and each room has a balcony. Close by food and supermarket. Nice staff. The only complain would be they charge you for lugage storage after you check out, and check out is kind of eraly - 10:00 although nobody kicked us out after this time. I would stay there again. Easy to make friends there.
My experience for this hostel was positive, even though it was slightly expensive. The staffs were helpful and nice. The gave me some recommendations about the best places in roam around and good restaurants in Bari. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this hostel.
