Nearby places to the house are: “Colón Cemetery”, “Malecón Habanero”, “Plaza de la Revolución” 'Fresa y Chocolate Night Club'. The house is located 25 minutes from the airport by taxi, and 5 minutes from the bus station Viazul. There are many cinemas and other interesting art places near from the house.

By car: Take the 23rd Avenue until you reach 18th Street our home it's located in the first block of 18th Street.

We have stayed at Maria Carmen Apartment on the beginning of our holidays on Cuba and at the end of our tour. It is a great starting point to visit Havana. It lies in the Vedado the part of the Havana (on a corner of Calle 18 and Avenia 23) which is excellently connected with the Havana centre. The Apartment lies few hundred meters from the Malecón (a famous 8km-long sea drive) and is located near the historical monument Cementerio de Cristóbal Colón. The "hop on, hop off" bus operates on both avenues, the taxis as well “taxis colectivo” are frequent and Viazul - bus station is simple to reach. The Apartment (ground floor) is equipped in classic Spanish style. The rooms are very clean and well equipped with working air conditioners. It is possible to use the well-equipped kitchen with two refrigerators. The breakfast (is served in dining or sitting room) it is delicious and there is plenty of choice. The fresh fruit and juice as well as Cuban coffee are excellent. The owners are kind, English speaking. You can reach them by mobile phone for any info or help. In the vicinity you can find numerous restaurants.
We stayed at this casa for 4 days. The owner of casa Graciela and her husband were so helpfull. We learned lots of things about Cuban life by them. They speak English very well. We reached their phone whenever we need. Casa was centre of Vedado, near to seaside. You can find different choice of restaurants. İt was at the main road; you can use collectivo taxis. We recommend this casa!
