Room types
We are a mid-sized hostel, offering just 11 shared rooms and a total of 50 capsule beds. All our capsules have been customised with a night light and international plugs, and curtains for privacy. Individual lockers with locks are also provided for all our guests to ensure the security of your belongings.
Location and surroundings
Located right in the heart of Mandalay, on the South Wall of the Mandalay Palace, Mansion Hostels is within walking distance to the main attractions of the city - the Palace, Mandalay Hill and the surrounding pagodas, Mandalay Marionettes Show, etc. We are a 15 min walk from the train station, and are surrounding by restaurants, convenience stores, banks and the hospital.
Mansion Hostel has contacts for motorbike, tuk tuk and taxi drivers - fitting a wide range of budgets for our guests.
Services and facilities
Mansion Hostel has a lounge area at reception, with books, maps and wi-fi. Breakfast is included with all bookings – we try to bring you both a taste of local eats and classic eggs on toast. After all, we all know a great breakfast is the best way to start the day!
Head to our private rooftop bar and restaurant (exclusive to guests of Mansion Hostel) on the fourth floor with a view of the grand Mandalay palace.

All minors under the age of 16 years old have to be accompanied by an adult during their stay in Mansion Hostel. Drugs, Prostitution and Other Crimes: We at Mansion Hostels would love for our guests to have a great time here, but do note that we have the right to evict guests involved in drugs possession and use, prostitution and other related crimes against the law of Myanmar.
