Malone's Old Town Hostel is located only 5-min walking from Waverly Train Station in Edinburgh, it provides spacious and high standard hostel accommodation in dorms. It boast of an onsite pub, guest kitchen and free wifi

Room types
With only 30 beds in total we are one of Edinburgh's smaller hostels.
We have a 12 bed dorm, a 10 bed dorm and two 4 bed dorms to choose from.
Bedlinen are included in the price and towels can be rented at the reception.
Location and surroundings
Out hostel is located right on top of or popular "Malone's Irish Bar" where you can enjoy live music, pub food and special drinking discounts.
All tourist attraction in the city are only a 5-15 minute walk away and the buses that go to Ocean Terminal, Cramond Island, Portobello Beach and the Airport, stop right in front of our hostel.
The closest supermarket is 2 minutes away and we also have a corner shop on our street.
Services and facilities
All rooms are equipped with lockers. You can either bring your own padlock or rent one at the reception.
We also have a small kitchen that is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a kettle and a hub for cooking.

It's very good hostel. Nise place.
everything is very good
Very conveniently located just a short walk from the train station with lots of cafés and restaurants nearby. Rooms are sparse (bunk beds, shelf and that's it) but clean. Bathroom's surprisingly spacious and modern. Only annoying thing you have to get through 2 door you cannot unlock yourself to get to the hostel. There's a buzzer but staff do not always respond. Reception opening time is short and not even always manned during business hours. Can be annoying when you arrive or need to leave quickly to catch a train or flight. Overall, good experience.
Very nice hostel. Clean rooms and friednly staff.
